- I have been teaching at Reed since 1977. Originally an art teacher, with no job, I decided that work was more important than passion, went back to school, got a math credential and started teaching math. After 20 years, I had enough and needed something new. At a conference, I met some librarians, who turned the light on for me. Since 1998 I have been working my passion and am the library media teacher at Reed.
